Two part
Virtual or In-Person Workshop
Invite Your “Best Self” to Work (and that of Others) Series
Overview
Participants engage in storytelling and visual art to identify their “best selves” and that of their teammates. We’ll also address the essential skill of constructing productive, lasting feedback. A fantastic onboarding, retention and team-building tool! Ideal size of workshop is 20-25 participants in order to encourage sharing and honest reflection. However, we can always accommodate larger groups with additional facilitators. Short pre-workshop prep required.
Part 1
The Art of Feedback
When anchored in observable evidence, feedback (positive or negative) can be encouraging and productive! Develop this essential skill for clearer, more objective communication with colleagues and direct reports. This workshop draws on proven discussion practices found in the visual arts.
3 hours. Zoom or in-person.
Part 2
Introducing Your “Best Self”!
Identifying what motivates employees has been shown as essential to job satisfaction, productivity, and retention. Participants engage in storytelling and improv games to identify their “best selves” and sources of meaning at work. (“Best-self activation” has proven to significantly increase employee retention as well as workplace effectiveness.) Discoveries can even equip employees to artfully “reskill” their current positions.
3 hours. Zoom or in-person.
